Young Explorer

In 2024, ESO launched the Young Explorer Summer Programme to inspire environmental responsibility amongst youth. This initiative engaged kids aged 6-11 in learning about sustainability through a week-long workshop . The programme covered critical topics such as climate change, biodiversity, conservation, plastic pollution, and waste reduction.

Using interactive activities to simplify complex environmental concepts, the programme combined storytelling, art and hands-on projects to enhance creativity, teamwork and critical thinking. Highlights included an environmental “passport” given to each child to track their progress, with new stamps earned each day. The journey concluded with a closing ceremony, where children received their final stamps and eco-friendly gifts.
